eFlex provides enhanced durability and a high-friction surface long term while significantly reducing scuffing and tearing soon after application.
eFlex is a premium micro surfacing emulsion used to help protect and maintain your road, especially in extreme temperatures. Compared to conventional micro surfacing systems, the increased polymer modification in eFlex provides greater resistance to scuffing and tearing early on. It is also used for rut filling and leveling.
Long-term benefits include increased durability, a continually high-friction surface, and all-around better results. eFlex also provides a quick return to traffic. It is the ideal solution to achieve exceptionally strong wearing courses for high-traffic areas, and is proven to withstand repeated pressure from both passenger and utility vehicles, including snowplows.
This treatment extends the service life of roads 7-9 years. Additionally, it can be applied as the top layer/final course in a cape seal application. eFlex premium micro surfacing is most suitable for use with Type II and Type III aggregate. Please note, cracks ¼ inch and greater should be sealed prior to a micro surfacing application.
